If I had a time machine, my childhood would remain in the magical 1990s—a time where imagination thrived, and life was an unstructured playground. I would chase fireflies with friends in the evenings and invent worlds out of cardboard boxes, untouched by the rigid academic grind of Indian schools. For my adolescence, I’d step into ancient Athens, joining Socrates in the Agora as he unraveled the mysteries of life and learning. Perhaps, I’d be a curious student or a trusted scribe to an explorer charting the edges of the known world, my heart racing with the thrill of discovery. My adult life would leap 5,000 years ahead, into a dazzling post-singularity realm where artificial super-intelligence (ASI) is a compassionate ally. I’d build a life brimming with dreams realised—limitless wealth, profound joy, and universal brotherhood, all amidst the wonders of a transcendent civilisation. And for my silver years, I’d retreat to the Himalayas 2,000 years ago, under the watchful eye of a wise sage. I’d sit by crackling fires in icy caves, meditating deeply, peeling back the layers of my existence, and merging with the divine, preparing my soul for the great journey ahead.
