Capricorn
I don’t eat ice-cream. I like listening to old songs. I suck at playing cricket. :/
That I might fail to reach my full potential as a writer, and that I might fail in my duties towards my loved ones and towards society
It will always be yet to come…
The book launch of my debut thriller novel, ‘The Man in the Trench Coat’
When I failed my engineering exams
Sachin Tendulkar, the God of Cricket, for his passion, dedication and humility; and Barack Obama, former President of the USA, for his charisma, oratory skills, sharp wit and decisive leadership
Sherlock Holmes (The Sherlock Holmes Collection), for his intellectual genius and cold rationality, layered with deep underlying emotions; and for simply being the greatest detective of all times
Smeagol/Gollum (The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings), for the complex portrayal of the strengths and weaknesses inherent to humanity
J.R.R. Tolkien, Isaac Asimov, Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Alexandre Dumas, Mario Puzo, Frederick Forsyth, J.K. Rowling, Jeffrey Archer, Sidney Sheldon, Ayn Rand, Khaled Hosseini, George R.R. Martin, R.K. Narayan, Ruskin Bond, P.L. Deshpande and many more…

This was no mere writer, no momentary celebrity; but a Man for the Ages.
Childhood: India (1993), adolescence: USA (1980s) to be able to pursue my passions, adult life: Europe (2000s) getting creative inspiration from my travels, silver years: India (2030s) serving the country and making it a better place
The talent of Salesmanship / Persuasion
The Lord of the Rings. For the sheer scope and breathtaking vision
Most often on my laptop in a cafe, with coffee and music
Depends on the mood and on what I am writing

No... whatever comes naturally…
Nora Roberts’ books (I don’t care much for rom-com, but occasionally one of her characters speaks to me)
Never rest, for your best is always yet come.
