If you had a time machine to take you back to any country and any time period, where would you choose to be for your childhood, adolosent , adult life and silver years?

Childhood - I would love to retreat to my parents’ home in Bhagalpur as a child, adolescent - go back to the palace and fort of Jhansi and be a fiery princess learning both arts and warfare, adult life - To India of 1940s.... the karmbhoomi.... fight for its Independence, silver years - in the serene and scenic mountains of Bhutan.

If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

Film making

When and where do you write ?

I write in my hours of solitude. Could be anywhere.... a beach, a train, in flight or even my consulting room.

Silence or music?

Silence. In silence you hear the music of earth, so silence is bliss.

Write, publish, announce, sell!

Dr Manisha Saxena is a paediatrician based at Bharuch, Gujarat. A National Talent Search Scholar of NCERT, New Delhi, she has received her education at Mount Carmel School, S M College and JLN Medical College, Bhagalpur. Dr Manisha has also received training in Indian classical vocal music and has a keen interest in reading, writing, travelling, public speaking, photography and painting.
