Keep the lag between the thought and first draft to bare minimal. Drag the thought from putting it down on paper you shall never be able to get the first draft out.
G N Pavan Kumar; a soul that came into existence on 02nd November 1981 in a beautiful town named Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. As any child in India, he grew up listening to the stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata narrated by his father as bedtime stories. His mother; a writer and a journalist, gifted him her passion for writing. He composed his first poem when he was 13 years old and won a prize at a city level school competition. His first series of poetry “A Smile and A Cry” was completed and later got published when he was just 16 years old. He has tried his hand at fiction and short stories but his love towards poetry remained and in fact grew as he tried other forms of literature. Probably this is what they call “First Love”. Sonnets—a form of poetry became his loyal partner and every thought, every idea, every feeling penned down took a form of a sonnet. He believes that when words are tied with rules of rhyme, rhythm, and meter the work stays for long and the words reflect the right thought. Thus, never getting lost in translation as the age passes by. Few things he believes and practices: 01. Everyone is talented—the key is in realization 02. Do justice your talent 03. 2 Ps of life—Passion and Principles 04. Give back to the world in some form 05. Live life to the fullest extent—have fun, keep smiling, value your tears and finally travel a lot. Currently working as Head—Finance Operations in TATA Lockheed Martin Aerostructures, Hyderabad.
