I’m organized and strive for perfection in whatever I do. I did a three year diploma course in the French language in my fifties as I have a great liking for the language. Have a keen interest in tennis and football, although I don’t play these games.
Got an apartment of my own.
Releasing my CD “The Lord Leads Me” in December 2004.
Faced some hardship and personal loss but overcame them through strong will, determination, belief in myself and the power of the Almighty.
Being a tennis enthusiast, I admire the grit and determination of Roger Federer who recently made a splendid come back at age 35.

In my free time I enjoy reading The Bible as the psalms and proverbs are very inspiring. The Bible is a compilation of 73 books and each book has a story and a message.

I’m most inspired in the comfort of my home…sitting on the sofa and letting my thoughts take over. My most creative time is the wee hours of the morning; most of my poems have been written at this time, in the peace and quiet of the night.
Well I love good music, but at times silence is welcome.
No. I write whenever I feel like writing; I’m not superstitious.
Believe that you can write. Put down on paper the very first words that come to your mind – even if it is only a heading or a title that you would like to write about. Just get started, and words will follow. Always consult a good dictionary for meanings, spellings, correct usage of words and grammar. A Thesaurus too would help.
"Mary Kunte hails from Mumbai, India, and has worked with India’s leading bank.. Taking time off from her daily chores and the demands of her official duties, she acquired a keen interest in reading novels, periodicals and articles on various topics. She also enjoys good music and composing songs has been her favourite pastime. This led her to compile a CD titled The Lord Leads Me, the lyrics and music of which were a spontaneous expression of her mind and heart.
She also took up writing poetry, the first one being A Lullaby, which she wrote for her granddaughter, followed by two poems inspired by nature: Nature’s Night Lamp and The Elements of Nature. Over the years she has written quite a few poems for all age groups.
Apart from verse and rhyme, she has also written different styles of poetry: Acrostic, Rictameter, Onomatopoeia and Haiku."
