He has also had spells at The Indian Express, The Statesman and Muscat Daily. He has travelled extensively to cover issues like the socioeconomic collapse of Greece, urban poverty in Kenya, life in pre-revolution Egypt, the post-Apartheid scene in South Africa and Nepalese life under Maoist control.
