Papiya : For me achievement has always come as a realization of hidden facts. One such biggest achievements so far for me was the day I realized that I can pen my thoughts into stories; Asrith : Achievements are pretty must relative to one’s perspective. For me it was taking a stance to go ahead, publish this debut novel and see this on the market stands. It was a personal bliss to overcome many social obligations that came by as obstacles.
Papiya & Asrith : I have just begun my professional career and waiting for the high point.
Papiya : That particular phase where there was uncertainty about finding a platform to publish my book; Asrith : It is not exactly a low point, but the day when my inbox triggered the first publisher rejection was a little upsetting. Next was the news of passing away of two of my friends, one my office colleague and another a childhood friend of mine. Their death hit me hard and changed my perspective about various things and human relationships.
Papiya : I admire my parents who are always there for me as my strongest support system and my co-author who was the first one to instill the confidence in me that I can pen down an entire novel.;Asrith : I believe in having gurus within vicinity who can guide in much needed situations rather than having big names on the list. In my case it’s my first boss in office who has been a great inspirer to me and my elder brothers professor Prof.PNR (Will not reveal his full name :D)
Papiya : Elastigirl from The Incredibles; Asrith : As a kid who grew up in 90’s I have experienced the transformation from the era of televisions channels like Cartoon Network to streaming channels platforms like Netflix my fictional heroes were the superhuman cartoons of the 90’s. I was a great fan of Popeye the Sailor and also an ardent fan of Dexter.
Papiya : Voldemort from harry potter

Papiya : I prefer a silent corner of the room, along with my laptop and headphones added to which a soothing music in the background; Asrith : It all started in 2016. I was lucky enough to have a noise free bachelor’s flat that gave me the peace of mind to write. Also the mornings on shores of the beaches in Chennai.
Papiya: Both play an equal role. ‘Silence’ when a lot of ideas are clashing in my head and ‘music’ when I am running short of ideas; Asrith : As an author both these are very close to heart. Silence to write and music to inspire
