Scorpio
I am scared of cats, I don't know how to make tea, I want to colour my hair lilac
I have a fear of heights and a fear of losing people from my life.
My greatest achievement is the fact that from studying in a boarding school (Welham Girls' School) to going to college at London College of Fashion, I have achieved both these big milestones that I had planned for myself and now the book as well.
The high point in my life was when I got accepted to London College of Fashion which is currently the the No 1 in best fashion schools of the world. It had always been my dream college and getting accepted in it gave me immense happiness.
The lowest point in my life was when I discovered that I was suffering from severe anxiety issues and I had a lot of trouble trying to cope with them which used to stress me out from time to time but writing has been a great help.
I admire Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Billie Eilish and Barack Obama a lot.
My favourite fictional hero is Spiderman.
My favourite fictional villain is Joker.
My favourite authors are- Khalid Hosseini, Christopher Poindexter Rupi Kaur, Paulo Coelho, Roald Dahl, Megha Rao, R. M. Drake, Tyler Knott Gregson.

I wish I had the superpower to read minds
"Love with your eyes open, heart full and mind closed. Grieve with your eyes closed, heart empty and mind open."
If I had a time machine to go back in time, I would go back to the 19th Century, which was the post-impressionalist period and I would go back to Paris, Venice or Vienna. I would choose this because it would be beautiful to see the birth of Renaissance, painters like Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and my personal favourite Vincent Van Gogh make beautiful art works and I would learn so much.
One talent that I have always wanted to acquire and still want to is to know how to sing and the second one is to know how to do the dance form Bachata.
One book that I wish I had written is 'A Walk to Remember' by Nicholas Sparks.
I write in a couple of places. I love to write on my desk, or while lying down on my bed and sometimes in the sunlight in the balcony. I write when I am feeling very heavy and anxious and I need my emotions to stop overpowering me. Writing gives them a passage out of my mind, easing it a lot.
Music
Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind. And therefore, is winged Cupid painted blind. - William Shakespeare
I don't really have a writing superstition but I do have a writing ritual. I cannot write without listening to some music in the background. I listen to the kind of music that reflects my mood at that time and that greatly helps and impacts my writing in a very positive way.
My guilty pleasure would be reading romantic-comedies which have a gripping plot and emotional turnovers but a happy ending.
"The only advice I would like to give is the one I followed when I started writing- Never stop believing in what you write. If you have faith in what you have written, then every power on this earth will go on to show how beautiful your writing is. If you have faith in it, every person will love and appreciate it just as much."
I, Samiksha Rungta, am 19 years old and live in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. I am currently a student at the London College of Fashion (UAL) and aspire to become a successful part of the Fashion Industry in the Business Sector someday. I acquired my previous academic qualifications from Welham Girls' School in Dehradun. I love doing art. I love sketching, drawing and painting a lot. My interest in art led me to discover my love for writing in the process of describing my artwork. When I am not spending time playing with my Golden Retriever, Gucci or any other dog, I write poetry. Though I love dancing and listening to music just as much as I enjoy writing. 'Somewhere I Talk to The Moon' is my debut book of poetry.
