Born in the Cusp of Magic –a bit of Gemini and a bit of Cancer. As of now I am partial to Gemini.
I write my stories with a pencil on discarded sheets of paper. I am rarely bored, I keep myself occupied with learning something new all the time. I have a terrible handwriting but incidentally I’ve taught myself calligraphy.

Sharon Puthur is an Engineer turned writer. She is a hobbyist and an amateur perfumer. She practices belly dancing, and the violin, and is currently learning Kathak.
Her first play “Three Candles for the Dead” was shortlisted for The Hindu’s Metroplus Playwright Award 2014.
Her short story “The Handkerchief” was selected as a winning entry in the 2013 International writing competition organised by Sampad, in partnership with British Council India.
Her novel “The Princess who ran away” has just been longlisted for The Mumbai Film Festival’s Word to Screen Market.
She lives in Bangalore with her family.
