With experience of almost two decades in leadership positions across global brands such as J&J and Monsanto as well as Indian market leaders such as social enterprise, WaterHealth International and leading agtech player, CropIn Technology, Siddhartha Choudhary is a name well known among those in the know of the agricultural sector. As Chief Marketing Officer at California-headquartered social business venture WaterHealth International, Siddhartha helped set-up and scale operations across multiple African countries and ran an award-winning marketing campaign which included scholarship programs for deserving children and supporting woman entrepreneurs to start their independent ventures in rural communities. This was followed by his role at CropIn, where as Chief Revenue Officer, Siddhartha doubled the topline and opened up and scaled international business in South East Asia and Africa.
Siddhartha has won several accolades over the years ranging from being among the 50 Most Influential Rural Marketing Professionals in 2017, to the 100 Most Influential Marketing Leaders in 2015. He is a key note speaker at multiple forums and is juror for various marketing awards for corporates and B-schools.
Siddhartha has done his Bachelor in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering and Research Institute, and is now based out of Mumbai, leading DestaGlobal, a leading AgriTech startup focused on using technology to bring the farmers, dealers and agri manufacturers on a single platform where they can avail of multiple products and services at the right price and time and knowledge thereby creating a win-win for everybody in the agri-input ecosystem.
